An evening gathering inside Art-Teas-Tree — warm pendant lights, orange walls, visitors in quiet conversation
Looking up at the handmade Edison bulb lamps hanging from the bamboo ceiling grid of the café
A tall glass of frothy cold coffee dusted with cocoa, a metal straw resting in it, cups of tea and coffee on the warm wooden table behind
A creamy plate of pasta tossed with colourful peppers and sweetcorn, a ceramic spoon on the rim, skewers on a plate behind
A plate of grilled chicken skewers served with a side of golden fries

What's on.

"If Satyajit Ray lingered at a cha er dokan after rehearsal… that is the emotional neighborhood of Art-Teas-Tree Cafe.

Rooted in the spirit of the National Mime Institute, this is a place where silence is not emptiness, but attention.

Kolkata's tea stalls have always been tiny public theatres. Someone enters with a folded newspaper, someone leaves with a new philosophy, and the clay cup in the middle conducts the whole scene. We built this café to carry that exact warmth—without turning nostalgia into a museum.

In an age of digital isolation, consider this a rehearsal space for human connection. The tea steeps slowly. The bookshelves are open. Artists test unfinished thoughts. Here, Adda is a culture, not a distraction.

Stay for one cup. Leave after the third conversation."
